Field day Schedule | Horario del dia deportivo March 9, 2010 Dear Elementary Parents, The Athletic
Department is proud to inform you that on the morning of Friday, March
12, it is organizing a Field Day for all Elementary School students,
grades K3 through 5. On that day, teachers will escort their classes
to the Track and Field and Covered Athletic Area located by the swimming
pool where many activities have been planned for our students. The
activities are planned to start at 8:00 a.m. Parents are welcome
to come and cheer on their children as they participate in these activities.
Participating in this Field Day will help ANS students develop awareness
of the importance of staying fit and healthy, and it will also teach
students the value of exercising every day. In order to be prepared
for this event, all of our students have been practicing during their
P.E. classes since January. As part of the activities,
students in K3 to 1st grade will have
many activities in the main soccer field. Students in Grades 2 &
3 will enjoy a skating party. The students participating in
the party will need to bring rollerblades, skateboards, etc. (no bikes
allowed) along with safety gear. It is recommended parents label the
items children will bring that day. Students in Grades 4 & 5
will participate in swimming and water polo. Boys and girls will be
in the pool at different times. These students need to bring swimming
attire, towels, goggles and sunscreen. Additionally, boys in Grade
5th will also play baseball. Even though the school will
provide them with all the baseball equipment, students may want to bring
their own baseball gloves. The school will provide enough tents on the
soccer field and ice water for everyone; additionally, the “Hungry
Tiger” will be in a kiosk near the main soccer field. Students
will have a lunch break as follows: K3-1st
grade from 8:45-9:15 and 2nd
– 5th grade from 9:15
– 9:45. Please note that the dismissal of students on this day is at 11:00 a.m. All Field activities will end before the dismissal time. Students will be dismissed from their classrooms, not from the field or sports area. Come and help us make this an unforgettable morning for ANS Elementary children. tiene el orgullo de informarles que la mañana del viernes 12 de marzo,
están organizando un día de Deportes para todos los estudiantes de
K3 a 5to grado. Este día los profesores llevarán a sus alumnos al
a área de atletismo y al gimnasio techado, ubicadas por la piscina,
donde se llevarán a cabo las actividades planeadas para los alumnos.
Las actividades están programadas a dar inicio a las 8:00 am.
Los padres de familia están bienvenidos para apoyar a sus hijo/as durante
su participación en las actividades. La participación de este día
ayudará a los alumnos de ANS reconocer la importancia de mantenerse
saludable y en forma, también les enseñará los valores del ejercicio
diario. Para la preparación de este evento todos los alumnos han estado
practicando en las clases de Educación Física. Como parte de las actividades,
los estudiantes de K3 a 1er grado
realizarán diferentes actividades en el campo principal
de futbol. Los estudiantes de 2do a 3er grado disfrutarán de
una fiesta de patinaje. Los estudiantes participando en esta fiesta
deberán traer, patines, patinetas etc.(no se permitirán bicicletas)
con su equipo de protección. Se les recomienda que se le ponga el nombre
del niño/a a todas sus pertenencias. Los alumnos de 4to y 5to grado
participarán en natación y polo acuático. Los niños y niñas estarán
dentro de la piscina en diferentes turnos. Estos alumnos deberán
traer su traje de baño, toalla, gafas de natación y protector solar.
Los niños en 5to grado también harán beisbol. Aunque el colegio les
brindará el equipo, los alumnos podrían traer su propio guante de
beisbol. El colegio proveerá suficientes toldos en el campo de soccer,
hielo y agua para todos. Adicionalmente el “Hungry Tiger” estará
en el kiosko cerca de este campo. Los alumnos tendrán su hora del
almuerzo de la siguiente manera: K3-1er grado de 8:45 a 9:15 y 2do-5to
grado de 9:15 a 9:45. La hora de salida de este
día será a las 11am. Todas las actividades concluirán antes
de la hora de salida. Los alumnos serán regresados a sus aulas, no
se podrán retirar desde el área de deportes, se seguirá el proceso
de salida de diario. Vengan ayudarnos a que sea una mañana inolvidable
para los niños de primaria de ANS. El horario de las actividades también
fue enviado en un documento aparte a todos los padres de familia de
